چکیده

The staggered charge-order phase of the extended Hubbard model in the atomic limit Abstract We study the phase diagram of the extended Hubbard model in the atomic limit. At zero temperature, the phase diagram decomposes into six regions: three with homogeneous phases (characterized by particle densities = 0, 1, and 2 and staggered charge density = 0) and three with staggered phases (characterized by the densities = 1 2 , 1, and 3 2 and staggered densities jj = 1 2 , 1, and 1 2). Here we use Pirogov-Sinai theory to analyze the details of the phase diagram of this model at low temperatures. In particular, we show that for any suuciently low nonzero temperature the three staggered regions merge into one staggered region S, without any phase transitions (analytic free energy and staggered order parameter) within S.

Weak-coupling phase diagram of the extended Hubbard model with correlated-hopping interaction

A one-dimensional model of interacting electrons with on-site U, nearest-neighbor V, and correlatedhopping interaction T* is studied at half filling using the continuum-limit field theory approach. The groundstate phase diagram is obtained for a wide range of coupling constants. In addition to the insulating spinand charge-density wave phases for large U and V, respectively, we identify bond-lo...

The effects of the next-nearest-neighbour density-density interaction in the atomic limit of the extended Hubbard model.

We have studied the extended Hubbard model in the atomic limit. The Hamiltonian analysed consists of the effective on-site interaction U and the intersite density-density interactions W(ij) (both nearest-neighbour and next-nearest-neighbour). The model can be considered as a simple effective model of charge ordered insulators. The phase diagrams and thermodynamic properties of this system have ...

روش انتگرال مسیر برای مدل ‌هابارد تک نواره

We review various ways to express the partition function of the single-band Hubard model as a path integral. The emphasis is made on the derivation of the action in the integrand of the path integral and the results obtained from this approach are discussed only briefly.   Since the single-band Hubbard model is a pure fermionic model on the lattice and its Hamiltonian is a polynomial in creat...

Exact out-of-time-ordered correlation functions for an interacting lattice fermion model

Exact solutions for local equilibrium and nonequilibrium out-of-time-ordered correlation (OTOC) functions are obtained for a lattice fermion model with on-site interactions, namely, the Falicov-Kimball (FK) model, in the large dimensional and thermodynamic limit. Our approach is based on the nonequilibrium dynamical mean-field theory generalized to an extended Kadanoff-Baym contour. We find tha...

Static versus dynamic fluctuations in the one-dimensional extended Hubbard model

The extended Hubbard Hamiltonian is a widely accepted model for uncovering the effects of strong correlations on the phase diagram of low-dimensional systems, and a variety of theoretical techniques have been applied to it. In this paper the world-line quantum Monte Carlo method is used to study spin, charge, and bond order correlations of the one-dimensional extended Hubbard model in the prese...
